Options Workforce Partners is a not-for-profit, Alternative Staffing Organization (ASO) helping motivated, disadvantaged individuals participate and succeed in the mainstream labor market by providing competitive (fee-based) temporary and temp-to-perm job placements. Our mission is to promote and expand employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment while meeting the needs of business and industry in the communities we serve.   

We work in partnership with local, regional and state economic and workforce development toward a diverse and inclusive employment community that leads to self-sufficiency and decreases reliance on tax supported programs and services. We do this by helping to identify labor market opportunities and assisting low-skilled, unemployed and disadvantaged individuals to access them. 

As a division of Options for Independence, we are focused on improving our communities, one person at a time. Our ultimate goal and social purpose is to help put individuals in-need on a successful career path.    

What do we do?

Options Workforce Partners combines the business model of a staffing firm with the social mission of a workforce development agency. The result is a well-screened, professionally matched employee who received the pre- and post-placement supports they need to excell on-the-job. Our services include:
  • recruitment of work-ready or trainable individuals,
  • applicant screening and assessment,
  • job training and placement.

If, for any reason, our candidate does not meet your expectations. Options guarantees a qualified replacement within two hours.

In addition, Options Workforce Partners links individuals to small business development training and other support for those interested in becoming entrepreneurs.

We can save you time and money by recruiting and screening for you. You will receive a candidate who is productive from day one. Each candidate will go through the same intensive 3-tier interview process as all Options employees. Hard copies of all screening will be made available to you.

Internships Available Too

There is simply no replacement for experience.  Using a model program we call Bridging the Gap, we carefully select area high school students to work in your business under the supervision of both you and Options.  You get the benefit of a blank slate. You can mold him or her into the employee you need him or her to be - no habits to be unlearned. In doing this you will be giving a young adult the chance to learn a skill that will hold him or her in good stead for a lifetime. In other words, you will be changing a life! Many of our Bridging the Gap placements go on to find permanent homes in the companies where they intern.
