Getting ready for successful employment is no small task. Consider all of the education, experience and learning that typically takes eighteen years or more for us to accumulate before we are ready to enter the workforce and it becomes obvious that getting ready for work is a very serious matter.
At Options Staffing Solutions, we have assembled the absolute best resources available to assist persons who have the will and desire to create good careers, but may be missing some of the elements typically part of achieving work success.
Here is how we do it...
Two Weeks of Guided Preparation
Participants receive the direct support and attention of our trained workforce specialists for a full two weeks of learning. During this time, participants are assessed, tested and then guided towards development of the skills needed for success. Particiapnts also build their network of supports both within the Options Staffing Solutions network and beyond including introduction to potential employers and successful alumni of the training.
Career Ready 101 and WorkKeys
The ACT is the preiment measure of a student's readiness for college. Applying the same insights to work, the ACT company has created the highly successful Career Ready 101 program. Based on their gold standard for work readiness assessement, the WorkKeys system, the program takes a methodical approach to first identifying core job requirements, assessing the skill level of the individual, identifying any possible gaps, and then recommending training that is targeted to the specific job or occupation.
